Jay Karanjia is a Debt Loan Analyst in Washington Capital’s San Francisco office, joining the team in 2024. As a member of the Real Estate Debt Team, Jay underwrites new real estate transactions and focuses on servicing loan portfolios. He also assists with special fund projects, coordinates with borrowers to complete due diligence, and prepares investments memos. Jay graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a degree in Financial Actuarial Mathematics in 2020. Prior to joining WaCap, he worked as a Senior Mortgage Analyst at JVM Lending, analyzing credit risk to help pre-underwrite clients for residential home purchases.
